“Legends say that hummingbirds float free of time, carrying our hopes for love, joy and celebration. The hummingbird’s delicate grace reminds us that life is rich, beauty is everywhere, every personal connection has meaning and that laughter is life’s sweetest creation.”
I’ve had this anonymous quote sitting on my desk for a couple years now, and whenever I seem to be in a bit of a down mood, I will cast a glance at these words about the hummingbird, and it never fails to rekindle the natural source of light within me, and make me feel more positive.
Love Has Forgotten No One
“A Course In Miracles” tells us that “…the Son of God forgot how to laugh.” But the best statement comes from Gary Renard’s book, “Love Has Forgotten No One” – “Laughter is definitely of the Holy Spirit, as long as it’s not at someone else’s expense.
Laughter helps you feel and experience that this world cannot be taken seriously. It’s too crazy! It’s worthy of laughter, not tears. Tears make it real and keep you stuck here.” And finally, one of the oldest and wisest proverbs around is, “A merry heart doeth good like a medicine!”
This is a simple remedy for you, for the world, remember to laugh today and every day!
And if by chance you see a hummingbird, let it’s delicate grace of joy and beauty rekindle the beautiful light within you!
PEACE, LOVE, ABUNDANCE & MUCH ALOHA!
